Susie!

So excited to stay with Susie, Gennee, and Cassie this month in Springfield, MO!  

There is always something fun and artful going on in their apartment (example: the creation of a flower crown for an upcoming bridal shower). Notes on the camera: Susie is way more camera savvy than me, so I'm going to learn A LOT this month! yay! We took these pictures mid-morning in their very sunny apartment, we decided that next time it might be helpful to make a light reflector with a big white (translucent-esque sheet) to distribute the light more evenly (as you can see, one side of Susie's is a little bit shadowed). Also, I still can't figure out aperture--how far does the subject have to be from the background for the background to blur? And as always, these are so out of focus--WHY??? Help!
